Early in 2007 the Hessian-American Military Historical Society and the August Euler Luftfarht Museum decided to try and join forces to bring a permanent museum to the Griesheim Airfield after it was turned back to the German government. Although this has not come to fruition yet it is still a dream. To help this dream some items that were seen in the VMM Griesheim museum will be left with the friends from the August Euler Museum.
